Carving stamps out of linoleum is one of the simplest forms of printmaking. In this workshop you will be carving a simple stamp out of linoleum and using it to create an art print to take home. All materials will be provided.

Dr. Harris first discovered her love of linocut stamp carving and printmaking in summer of 2022 and since then has created many different stamps and prints and led stamp carving workshops for MAPS including a workshop at our retreat last February. Her favorite thing about linocut is once you have created the stamp you can make many different prints and they all turn out a little different.
